Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Locate and repair leaks, unclog drains, and install piping and fixtures according to code.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, including pipe wrenches, saws, and pressure testing equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan project layouts.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding job progress and issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in tight, confined spaces.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
- No prior experience is required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
