Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
- Assist senior plumbers with diagnostic troubleshooting and repair solutions
- Perform drain cleaning, pipe fitting, and fixture replacement tasks
- Adhere to safety protocols and building codes during all operations
- Complete service documentation and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
- Respond to emergency calls with minimal supervision after training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic hand tool proficiency (wrenches, pipe cutters, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Commitment to safety and customer service excellence
- Willingness to obtain Illinois plumbing license within 12 months
- Pass background check and drug screening
