Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Plumbers: Support senior technicians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Tool Preparation: Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and materials.
- Material Handling: Lift, carry, and transport heavy pipes, fittings, and equipment to job sites safely.
- Basic Installation: Learn to cut, thread, and assemble pipe sections according to blueprints and building codes.
- Site Cleanup: Ensure job sites are left in a safe and clean condition after each workday.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and provide updates on service status.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred (Trade school background is a plus).
- License: Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record required.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
- Attitude: Eager to learn, detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time work, including weekends and overtime.
