Responsibilities
- Install and repair residential plumbing systems (pipes, fixtures, water heaters)
- Diagnose leaks, clogs, and pressure issues using diagnostic tools
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Read blueprints and technical schematics
- Maintain clean job sites and inventory of tools/materials
- Adhere to Florida plumbing codes and safety protocols
- Collaborate with senior plumbers on complex projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Basic hand/power tool knowledge (training provided)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to obtain state plumbing license within 6 months
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Jacksonville
