Responsibilities
- Execute physical tasks including digging, lifting materials, operating hand/power tools, and site preparation
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions for precise construction execution
- Maintain clean, organized job sites with proper safety protocols and equipment handling
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, masons, electricians) with material preparation and installation
- Conduct daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety regulations at all times
- Participate in project-specific training and skill development programs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency with basic hand tools and power equipment (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for material measurements and calculations
