Responsibilities
- Execute diverse construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, masons, electricians) with material installation and finishing
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery (forklifts, excavators) with proper certification
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and perform routine equipment maintenance
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to execute work accurately
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial/residential construction experience
- OSHA 10/30 certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Experience with power tools and construction machinery
- Strong teamwork ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background and drug screening
