Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators) with proper safety protocols
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with specialized tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and enforce OSHA standards
- Perform concrete work, framing, and finishing operations
- Document daily progress and material usage accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
