Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, forklifts) with proper certification
- Install and remove scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material preparation and installation
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Perform cleanup operations and waste management procedures
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and construction documents
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Class B CDL license or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
