Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Assist carpenters and masons with layout, framing, and finishing work
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, forklifts, saws) with proper safety protocols
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and manage waste disposal
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications accurately
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and maintain equipment daily
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic hand/power tool proficiency (drills, saws, levels)
- Strong attention to detail and precision in task execution
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
