Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, demolition, and site preparation
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling and equipment setup
- Maintain job site cleanliness and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and follow construction plans accurately
- Install temporary structures and scaffolding for project access
- Participate in concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction or labor experience required
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and flexible schedules
