Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, earthmoving, and site preparation tasks
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) with precision
- Install/repair concrete foundations and structural components
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain site cleanliness
- Read blueprints and technical schematics accurately
- Assist carpenters/masons with material handling and setup
- Perform preventative equipment maintenance checks
Qualifications
- 3+ years commercial construction experience
- OSHA 10/30 certification required
- Valid Louisiana driver's license
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly
- Experience with CAT/John Deere equipment
- Background in hurricane-resistant construction preferred
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
