Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and project specifications
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) with proper certification
- Assist in concrete pouring, rebar installation, and finishing tasks
- Participate in daily site briefings and progress reporting
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction labor experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work collaboratively in diverse team environments
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
