Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and earthwork tasks per blueprints
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery safely (e.g., jackhammers, saws, forklifts)
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and installations
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret construction documents to ensure project accuracy
- Perform concrete work (pouring, finishing, demolition) and structural framing support
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction experience
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong teamwork ethic and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Experience with power tools and construction equipment preferred
