Responsibilities
- Execute diverse construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery (skid steers, forklifts) and power tools safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) with project-specific duties
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and follow verbal/written instructions from supervisors
- Perform light equipment maintenance and daily safety inspections
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience in commercial/residential settings
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid driver's license with clean record (may operate company vehicles)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Strong teamwork skills and reliable attendance record
