Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up equipment
- Load/unload construction materials and operate machinery (forklifts, excavators)
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions for precise task execution
- Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work environment
- Assist skilled tradesmen with carpentry, masonry, and finishing tasks
- Complete daily safety inspections and report hazards immediately
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid Tennessee driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
