Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (e.g., excavators, forklifts) with proper certifications
- Install and remove construction scaffolding and safety barriers
- Assist skilled trades with material preparation and equipment setup
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and project timelines
- Perform cleanup operations and waste management on job sites
- Read and interpret construction blueprints and project specifications
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
- Knowledge of construction materials and equipment operation
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and flexible schedules
- Strong communication skills and team collaboration abilities
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
