Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, levels) under supervisor guidance
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Perform basic site cleanup, debris removal, and waste management
- Read and interpret simple blueprints and job specifications
- Assist in setting up temporary structures and safety barriers
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or trade school certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic math skills for material measurement and calculation
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with flexible availability
- Ability to work in diverse weather conditions and outdoor environments
- Team-oriented communication skills and willingness to follow instructions
