Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential properties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and Wisconsin regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools and systematic troubleshooting
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely project completion
- Perform safety inspections and implement hazard prevention measures
- Train apprentices on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician license required
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency in reading technical blueprints and schematics
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Familiarity with energy-efficient systems and smart home technology
