Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial buildings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using specialized testing equipment
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and project managers
- Train apprentices on safety protocols and best practices
- Manage inventory and order necessary materials
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Electrician Journeyman or Master license
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Clean driving record and valid Class B CDL (preferred)
- Proficiency with electrical testing tools (multimeters, clamp meters)
- Flexibility for evening/weekend assignments
