Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using advanced diagnostic tools
- Lead teams on complex projects while maintaining strict safety protocols
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and clients for seamless project delivery
- Maintain detailed project documentation and inspection reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Michigan Journeyman Electrician license (required)
- OSHA 30-hour certification (preferred)
- Proficiency in conduit bending, wiring, and circuit design
- Strong knowledge of NEC updates and local Detroit building codes
- Ability to read complex technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills under tight deadlines
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
