Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential plumbing systems including pipes, drains, fixtures, and water heaters
- Install new plumbing components following Philadelphia building codes and safety standards
- Perform emergency weekend service calls with 24/7 on-call rotation
- Provide transparent pricing and detailed service explanations to homeowners
- Conduct thorough inspections and preventive maintenance for recurring clients
- Document service reports using digital tools and maintain inventory of parts
- Collaborate with team members for complex multi-trade projects
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential plumbing experience
- Valid Pennsylvania Plumber's License (journeyman or master)
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex pipe, drain, and fixture issues
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions on-site
- Excellent customer communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Physical stamina for confined spaces and heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Reliable transportation and weekend availability (Saturdays/Sundays)
- Familiarity with Philadelphia plumbing codes and permit requirements
