Responsibilities
- Perform general construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) with project execution
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Maintain clean and organized job sites throughout workday
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Participate in daily team briefings and progress updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience preferred
- Valid O-10 construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work in physically demanding conditions
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
