Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barricades, and ensuring safety protocols
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with material handling and tool management
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and trenching operations using manual and powered equipment
- Operate machinery like jackhammers, saws, and drills under proper supervision
- Maintain clean work areas and proper waste disposal procedures
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and report hazards immediately
- Assist in site restoration and final cleanup after project completion
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Basic tool operation experience preferred but not required
- OSHA 10-hour certification a plus (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work collaboratively
