Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with NEC and Maryland state electrical codes
- Diagnose electrical faults using diagnostic tools and testing equipment
- Supervise apprentices and coordinate with other trades
- Perform system inspections and preventative maintenance
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for project completion
Qualifications
- Valid Maryland Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Expertise in conduit bending, wiring, and circuit design
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Proficiency with electrical testing equipment (multimeters, clamp meters)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
