Responsibilities
- Design, install, and maintain complex electrical systems in commercial buildings and high-end residential properties
- Supervise and mentor junior electricians ensuring compliance with NYC Electrical Code and OSHA standards
- Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on 120V-480V power distribution systems
- Collaborate with architects and engineers on blueprint interpretation and system planning
- Manage project timelines, material procurement, and quality control documentation
- Conduct safety audits and implement best practices for job site hazard prevention
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Master Electrician license (required)
- Minimum 7 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proven expertise with PLC systems, VFDs, and smart building technologies
- Familiarity with NYC DOB permitting processes and inspection protocols
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Clean driving record and ability to lift 50lbs regularly
- Strong communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions
