Responsibilities

- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with potential industry disruption
- Design and validate prototype solutions using emerging tech stacks (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and external stakeholders with compelling data visualizations
- Establish innovation KPIs and track adoption metrics for future-facing technologies
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation management with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech
- Proven track record launching at least two breakthrough technologies to market
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, generative AI, or biocomputing
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (MBA preferred)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level stakeholder management
- Portfolio demonstrating technology commercialization success
