Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute the long-term technical strategy for Horizon Dynamics, specifically focusing on innovations relevant to the 2026 timeframe.
- Architecture Design: Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance software architectures for next-gen AI systems.
- R&D Leadership: Spearhead research initiatives to explore emerging technologies (e.g., generative AI, edge computing) and integrate them into our product ecosystem.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business goals into technical specifications.
- Pilot Programs: Identify, test, and deploy experimental technologies to validate feasibility before full-scale rollout.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead or architectural role.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Python, Rust, or Go, with deep knowledge of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of identifying emerging trends and aligning technology roadmaps with business objectives.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Agile Experience: Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with a focus on rapid iteration and delivery.
