- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging threats/opportunities in biotech and autonomous systems
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present tech strategy to C-suite and board of directors with compelling data visualizations
- Mentor junior researchers in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Engineering with focus on emerging tech
- 5+ years in strategic planning at Fortune 500 or VC-backed tech firms
- Deep expertise in AI governance, blockchain, or neuromorphic computing
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 journals
- Proven track record of scaling R&D initiatives from concept to commercialization
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and futures methodologies
- Security clearance preferred for federal collaboration projects
