Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 3-5 year technology foresight framework identifying emerging trends in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Architect strategic roadmaps aligning future tech capabilities with business objectives and market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable innovation projects
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for disruptive technologies affecting our industry
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members with compelling data visualizations
- Build and manage external partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs
- Mentor R&D teams on future-focused methodologies and emerging technology applications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Strategic Planning, or related field with 7+ years experience
- Proven expertise in technology forecasting and innovation strategy development
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing strategic decisions
- Strong project management skills with ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating past technology strategy implementations or foresight projects
