Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, aligning with corporate vision and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen technologies (quantum, AI, biotech convergence)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify emerging threats and opportunities
- Architect scalable frameworks for ethical AI deployment and sustainable tech implementation
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven impact projections
- Manage R&D partnerships with leading academic institutions and industry disruptors
- Drive cultural transformation initiatives to embed innovation mindsets across 500+ employee organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or future-focused R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies to market
- Deep expertise in emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AGI, climate tech)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFCS preferred)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience translating complex technical concepts for executive audiences
- Experience managing $5M+ innovation budgets with measurable ROI
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and academic research communities
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
