Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technology planning for 2026+ initiatives, aligning with business objectives and market evolution
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech) with transformative potential
- Develop comprehensive innovation roadmaps with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Partner with product and engineering teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Build and maintain a global network of technology innovators and research partners
- Monitor competitive intelligence and regulatory shifts impacting future tech adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing long-term tech roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (blockchain, biotech, AR/VR, AI governance)
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Exceptional communication skills for influencing stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Innovation Management, or related field
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
