Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional discovery sprints to evaluate emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum, biotech)
- Produce strategic briefs for executive stakeholders on disruptive market opportunities
- Establish innovation KPIs and track technology adoption curves across industries
- Build and manage an external ecosystem of research labs, startups, and academic partners
- Present technology forecasts to investors and board members with data-driven scenarios
- Mentor R&D teams in future-proofing architectures for 2026+ scalability challenges
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Expertise in forecasting technology adoption cycles and market disruption patterns
- Proven track record of launching at least two enterprise-grade future-tech initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Deep understanding of Web3, AGI, and quantum computing paradigms
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight methodologies
- Experience building global tech ecosystems and managing R&D budgets >$50M
- Prior success in translating complex technical concepts into executive strategies
