Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotech, quantum computing, and AI ethics domains
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable initiatives
- Build predictive models for societal and technological disruption scenarios
- Partner with C-suite to integrate foresight into enterprise decision-making
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote industry conferences
- Maintain a global network of futurists, scientists, and policy influencers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent technical discipline
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of forecasting technological adoption curves (include portfolio)
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and weak signal detection
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
