Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models to guide long-term organizational strategy
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints translating future insights into actionable product roadmaps
- Establish strategic partnerships with emerging tech startups and research institutions
- Present compelling future narratives to executive leadership and board members
- Build and lead a dedicated futures intelligence team
- Integrate foresight methodologies into corporate culture and decision-making processes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful future-oriented strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional data synthesis and storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight
