Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, disruptive technologies, and socio-economic shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation and business transformation using scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future-proof solutions and identify first-mover opportunities
- Produce executive-level trend reports and thought leadership content for industry publications
- Partner with R&D to prototype emerging technologies and validate market readiness
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders with compelling data-driven narratives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism role with Fortune 500 experience
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Proven track record of publishing future-focused research or thought leadership
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-strategy implementations with measurable impact
