Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and market disruptors
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 10-year technology and societal trend forecast
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops with cross-functional teams
- Create strategic frameworks for integrating future trends into product roadmaps
- Present foresight findings to executive leadership and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Quantify potential impacts of emerging trends on business operations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in innovation strategy, technology forecasting, or futurism
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies
- Deep expertise in AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech trends
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation publications
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) strongly preferred
