Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions to identify strategic opportunities through 2026
- Develop comprehensive future scenarios and roadmaps for product innovation and business transformation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to integrate foresight insights into R&D and product development cycles
- Author high-impact thought leadership publications and whitepapers on future trends
- Advise executive leadership on strategic pivots and long-term positioning in rapidly evolving markets
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Quantify future market opportunities using predictive modeling and scenario planning tools
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional ability to translate complex future concepts into compelling narratives and strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-focused initiatives
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization and trend mapping tools
- Experience advising C-suite executives on strategic innovation and market disruption
