Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight framework using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing business models
- Conduct deep-dive research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuro-interfaces) and societal shifts
- Present executive-ready strategic recommendations to guide R&D investments and market positioning
- Design and facilitate future-thinking workshops with global stakeholders
- Author thought leadership publications and whitepapers on industry transformation
- Build and nurture a network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementation (>$100M impact)
- Experience facilitating C-level strategic planning sessions
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFM, WFS) strongly preferred
