Responsibilities
- Forecast technology and societal trends through quantitative/qualitative research for 2026+ strategic planning
- Develop innovation frameworks and roadmaps for emerging domains (AI ethics, biotech convergence, quantum computing)
- Lead scenario planning workshops with executive stakeholders to mitigate disruption risks
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-state solutions and validate market readiness
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote industry summits on future-focused topics
- Build and manage an ecosystem of academic, corporate, and startup innovation partners
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or futurist roles with proven 5+ year trend forecasting success
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative/qualitative field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AGI, neurotech, climate AI)
- Portfolio demonstrating trend analysis publications or implemented future-state strategies
- Exceptional storytelling skills translating complex concepts for executive audiences
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFM, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation teams in tech-forward organizations
