Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities for 2026-2030
- Design and implement strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and trend mapping
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-focused solutions in emerging markets
- Develop predictive models for industry disruption and competitive positioning scenarios
- Present strategic briefings to executive stakeholders and board members using data-driven narratives
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry pioneers
- Curate thought leadership content (whitepapers, TED-style talks) positioning Horizon as a future authority
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies (e.g., STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrices)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused ventures or transformational initiatives
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (journal articles, books)
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., APF, WFS) or equivalent practical experience
