Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging global trends across technology, economics, and social paradigms to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend impact matrices
- Lead cross-functional innovation initiatives to prototype and validate future-facing business models
- Present actionable insights to executive stakeholders through compelling visual narratives and data-driven reports
- Establish and nurture an internal futurist network to embed foresight thinking across all departments
- Author thought leadership content positioning Horizon Dynamics as the voice of tomorrow's innovation
- Partner with R&D teams to translate future scenarios into tangible product roadmaps
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.) and societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting complex futures to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-oriented projects that generated measurable business impact
- Experience working in fast-paced tech or innovation-driven environments
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) preferred
