Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions through 2030
- Develop strategic frameworks for innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Deliver executive briefings and scenario-planning workshops for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Translate foresight into product development priorities and investment decisions
- Champion a culture of innovation across 15+ global business units
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial products or market strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method, scenario planning)
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, neurotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation initiatives
