Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to develop 5-year strategic scenarios
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing innovation pipelines aligned with 2026 market projections
- Deliver executive briefings on disruptive threats and opportunities across global markets
- Design and manage horizon-scanning frameworks to identify non-obvious industry inflection points
- Champion organizational culture of experimentation through rapid prototyping and failure-tolerant initiatives
- Develop quantitative models for forecasting adoption curves of breakthrough technologies
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry thought leadership events
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products/services
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences and technical teams
- Certification in Futures Research (e.g., from World Future Society) or equivalent
- Portfolio published in leading futurist journals or industry whitepapers
