Responsibilities
- Architect and implement the company's 2026 strategic vision through trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to develop future-ready products and services
- Conduct deep-dive research on exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts
- Translate foresight into actionable roadmaps with measurable KPIs for executive stakeholders
- Build and nurture an internal innovation ecosystem through workshops, hackathons, and thought leadership
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype and validate futuristic concepts with real-world applications
- Represent the company at global futurism forums and publish thought leadership in industry publications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Innovation, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futures research with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercially successful initiatives
- Expertise in exponential technologies and their societal implications (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex scenarios and predict second-order effects
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar professional designation required
- Portfolio of published foresight work or implemented future-focused projects
- Experience leading hybrid teams across technical and creative disciplines
