Responsibilities
- Forecast technological, social, and economic trends impacting global markets through 2026+
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for enterprise risk mitigation and opportunity capture
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-state solutions
- Author strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on emerging paradigms
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex foresight analyses into actionable business roadmaps
- Advise leadership on long-term R&D investments and market positioning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts with documented case studies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience with scenario planning tools like Causal Layered Analysis
