Responsibilities
- Develop multi-year strategic roadmaps for 2026+ technological convergence (quantum AI, biocomputing, climate engineering)
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives from Fortune 500 partners
- Produce annual Horizon Scan reports identifying emerging disruptors
- Chair our 2026 Ethics Council ensuring responsible innovation adoption
- Design immersive future-state simulations for stakeholder decision-making
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring technological transition readiness
- Forge partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Future of Humanity Institute, and similar entities
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight with Fortune 500 or global policy institutions
- Published work on exponential technologies (quantum, biotech, AI)
- Proficiency in futures forecasting tools (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Experience designing ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
- Track record of influencing multi-billion-dollar strategic decisions
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
