Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 strategic foresight scenarios using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and expert networks
- Produce quarterly disruption reports highlighting emerging threats/opportunities across 15+ industries
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on future-state priorities
- Design and implement AI-powered trend forecasting models using proprietary datasets
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global futurist forums and policy summits
- Author the annual 'State of 2026' whitepaper for industry stakeholders
- Mentor innovation teams in applying futures thinking to product development
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Published thought leadership on technological singularity or human-machine convergence
- Expertise in scenario planning frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method)
- Proficiency in AI trend analysis tools (e.g., GPT-4, Trend Hunter)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on long-term disruption
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, neurotech, and climate adaptation strategies
- Portfolio of successful 5+ year strategic implementations
