Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 market impact
- Develop strategic roadmaps for autonomous ecosystems, quantum AI convergence, and neurotech interfaces
- Partner with C-suite executives to embed future-proofing principles into product development
- Design ethical frameworks for sentient AI and human augmentation systems
- Present foresight findings to investors, policymakers, and industry consortiums
- Build cross-functional innovation labs with MIT, Stanford, and NASA partners
- Quantify future ROI through predictive modeling and scenario planning
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Published research on quantum computing, AGI safety, or climate tech
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and disruption forecasting
- Track record of commercializing future-focused technologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (nanotech, fusion, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
