Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions for climate resilience and human augmentation
- Produce actionable trend reports influencing $500M+ R&D budgets
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Mentor junior futurists and curate the company's future-focused knowledge base
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategy/innovation with proven impact on commercialized future technologies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, biotech, AGI)
- Published thought leadership in futurist journals or major industry publications
- Experience with scenario planning tools and predictive analytics platforms
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures to stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful futuristic strategy implementation
