Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Lead executive-level workshops on emerging technologies' market implications (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Design innovation pipelines translating future scenarios into R&D roadmaps and product roadmaps
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify and integrate emerging technologies into core business units
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Establish KPIs for measuring strategic adaptation velocity and organizational resilience
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures thinking methodologies and systems analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futures research with Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Proven expertise in developing multi-year strategic frameworks with measurable ROI
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their socioeconomic disruption vectors
- Certification in futures studies (e.g., CFCS from Association of Professional Futurists) or equivalent advanced degree
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex organizational transformation
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented strategic initiatives
